Michael Koldys, of Sheffield, won the seven-figure prize playing the $20 scratch-off game “$5,000,000 100X Cashword."

Koldys elected to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.

He said he wants to buy a boat, save some for retirement, and enjoy the rest.

Koldys bought the winning ticket at Silk’s Variety at 107 Main St. in Sheffield. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
